We are proud to host a range of funding options is available for families who need extra help accessing our support.

WINZ Funding

We’re proud to be an approved provider with Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ), which means some families can access subsidised home support to help lighten the load during pregnancy, postpartum, or when caring for young children. Funding may be available if you have multiples (twins, triplets, or more), or in a domestic emergency with no one else to help.

Applying is simple - contact WINZ on 0800 559 009 or visit their Home Help page. They’ll guide you through what information you need and help you complete the ‘Home Help Payments’ form.

Once your application is approved, get in touch with us to lock in your support plan. WINZ typically subsidises support up to $27/hr, and any extra costs, including travel, can be discussed with us beforehand, and we’ll help you fill out the weekly timesheet so payments are processed smoothly.

We know navigating WINZ can feel overwhelming - we’re here to support you through the process and make accessing help as simple as possible.

ACC Funding

If you’re entitled to home support through ACC — for a birth-related injury, recovery from an accident, or another eligible situation — we can provide care once approved by an ACC case manager.

We’re not a direct vendor with ACC, but many families are able to access support by working with their case manager to get funding confirmed. It’s worth checking in with your ACC team and asking if Dew Drops can be your support provider — we’ll guide you through the process and help make it as smooth as possible.

Once approval is confirmed, we can create a support plan tailored to your needs, including household help, childcare, or meal support — whatever will ease your recovery and lighten your load.

Dew Drops Koha Fund

We believe this support is essential and should be available to everyone - and while we aim to keep our pricing as sustainable as possible, money shouldn’t be a barrier to support.

Thanks to our amazing community, we have a limited number of koha fund sessions available, which can fully or partially cover in-home support.
