Jessie’s story

Founder of Dew Drops, and proud mum of Ilay (5), Dew Drops was born from my personal postpartum experiences, where I found a deep need for practical, holistic support for parents. I wanted to share the tools and knowledge I gained to help others navigate their own journeys with ease.

I am deeply committed to supporting families through all stages of parenthood, including grief, loss, health challenges, and everyday life hurdles. I provide a safe, judgment-free space, offering my knowledge and resources to help guide you through difficult times.

When I’m not helping families, I love cooking, cleaning, and organizing – especially preparing for the arrival of little ones. I love working with parents to help them slow down, take time for themselves, and create a supportive environment as they adjust to the beautiful chaos of parenthood.

kirsten’s story

After 20 years in the UK as a teacher, coach, and birth/postnatal doula, I returned to New Zealand during COVID. After settling my family, I retrained as a proofreader, but I was drawn back to postpartum support through Dew Drops.

I’ve always advocated for mother and baby well-being, running retreats and workshops in the UK to improve postnatal care. I’ve worked with midwives and obstetricians to improve outcomes and served on the Perinatal Mental Health committee to give mothers a voice in policy.

As a doula, I’m here to provide practical support and reassurance during the postpartum period, whether it’s offering a chat, folding laundry, or preparing homemade snacks. I’m thrilled to be part of the Dew Drops team and look forward to meeting you!

percy’s story

With a background as a teacher, life coach, community support worker, and disability advocate, I bring a needs-based approach to postpartum care. Whether it's helping with self-care practices, supporting through overwhelm, or simply doing the dishes, I’m here to listen, lighten your load, and find what works for you.

I believe in the power of supportive, interdependent communities, especially during the life-changing experience of parenthood. Healthy whānau begins with being present and showing up for each other, and to do that, we need to recharge and lean on others.

As a white, queer, neurodivergent individual, I offer person-centered, trauma-informed care, grounded in te Tiriti o Waitangi, and draw on my lived experience to support those facing neurodivergent burnout or found family challenges.

Support for Neurodivergent Families

Home-focused support only - Not available for baby or child care.

Laura’s story

Mama to three little girls, I get just how overwhelming managing the mental load of parenting, home life, schedules, and all the things can be - especially when the one thing we are told to prioritize as a mum is a moment to yourself!

In our own neurodiverse household, we navigate day-to-day family life around differing needs. Understanding that every family is unique, I aim to work alongside households with curiosity, empathy, and flexibility.

I believe home should feel like a safe space, not another source of stress. Whether I can help you find more ease in your home through practical support, gentle decluttering, or in creating realistic organizing strategies, let’s work together to create an environment that supports your family’s unique needs and rhythms.

Whether you’re feeling burnt out, swamped by all the stuff/lists/piles, or you just don’t know where to start - you’re not alone. Your home doesn’t have to feel so hard, and I’d love to help lighten the load.

Nat’s story

My passion for working with children has led me to a fulfilling role in Early Childhood Education. I’m proud to be part of the Drew Drops team, supporting families through the precious addition of a new baby into the world.

Coming from an Asian background, I understand the importance of postpartum care and how vital it is for mothers to receive the support they need to rest, recover, and regain their well-being. This healing process takes time, and having the right help can make a world of difference.

Whether you are just beginning your parenting journey, or looking for extra care as your family grows, I’m here to walk alongside you during this special time, creating a calm, nurturing environment for both you and your pēpi.
